Remember last week Denise and I had to go down to SRC to book court for netball training last night? Remember how we had to coordinate everyone's timing to settle on wed (last night) to have a netball session.
Remember how heavy it rained last night.
Murphy's law thus stands.

Pam Pam's Birthday Wishlist
Wahaha...my time of the year is here again! September 18! Mark that on your calendar!
Here's a list of what I NEED. (Read: Need, not want! They are neccessities!!)
1. Ear rings stand/ holder ( I found one ear rings stand at Jurong Point, $29 only! Cheap Cheap!)
2. Jewellery box ( Alternative to no. 1)
3. Wallet ( I don't want long wallets...and no Renoma pls!)
4. A nice bag that I can bring to school or town
5. Laniege moisturiser/ essence
6. Burberry's Baby Touch perfume
7. A bracelet watch
8. A new Handphone (preferably Nokia's slide phone)
9. Dinner at Chijmes
10. Choinging session at MOS/Zouk
11. A birthday cake/ handmade card
12. A bouquet of Tulips!
Not too much to ask for right.....wahahaha...
If all the above does not work well for your wallet, all I need is just a "Happy Birthday Pam!", either via sms, email or best, face to face. I'm cool with that, REALLY.

If you have it, flaunt it!
If you happen to view Yahoo's webpage today, you would not miss this headline: No modesty for Paris
It went on to read: The reality star says she loves her new album: "I, like, cry when I listen to it, it's so good."
My first reaction, like many others I would think, was to diss her off as acting like a bimbo again.
But hey! On second thoughts....her latest album sounds not bad, at least it is radio friendly! And there is nothing wrong in admitting that she likes her own album. If even she herself doesn't think it's nice, who would?! What I'm trying to get is: If you have it, flaunt it!
It's time to be proud of who you are or what you are capable of!
(Hmmm....feel kinda slim these days....maybe I'll wear that mini skirt to school tomorrow! haha!)

My legs- the best form of transport
Know what's the best form of transport now in NTU? My legs. They will not fail me. They will not make me wait at the bus stop (that is full of mosquitoes and god knows what kind of weird insects) for 30mins. They will not bring me one big round just to get to my destination.
Stupid shuttle bus service, changed so many times still result in the same inefficiency.
Anyway, I walked to Popular this afternoon. Mind you, I walked from Hall 14 under the hot sun! In the end, the textbook that I wanted to buy was out of stock! What the hell, and the guy who told me that didn't seem sympathetic at all! I guess he must be used to all the "what the hell"s that people "unknowingly" said out loud.
Went to SRC just now with Denise to book netball court for training. *Sigh* So troublesome, have to ask everyone which days are free for them to come down and play a game of netball. Why can't we have over-zealous netball gals in Hall 14? Poor me and Denise....hope it is all worth it in the end. (translate: hope all of them turn up for training!)
The person at SRC whom we booked the court with asked if I was the sports sec. (only sports sec can book SRC facilities.) I said "yes" without a blink of an eye (as usual...liar liar! hah!) But Denise, who was standing beside me, nudged me.
"Ke yi meh?" she asked.
Please la...those fat asses sitting in air con room at SRC are only there to enjoy the air con! Do you think they will really check my ID for confirmation?? Hell no! Besides...I look sporty enough to be a sport sec right? haha...
Haven't touched my readings at all today....should I go NUS later for netball? Hee..

This is only the 2nd day. I am not done yet! HAHA
To be continued...
Anyone wanna join me for a game of Netball?
Been awhile since I played Netball- my all time favourite ball game. Recently got into it again, thanks to my boyfriend cum Netball coach cum Netball umpire. Yea you might wonder if I got it wrong- is he my boyfriend or galfriend?? He is 100% testosterone-charged, I assure you! How did a guy like my boyfriend get into the Holy Netball Trinity (Player, Coach and Umpire) you ask? Well, that's another long story.....to be continued in another entry!
Back to me for now! Yes, I am finally back into the game. Feels great. Nothing can compare to the adrenalin rush I get from throwing good passes and making fake moves that leaves the defender wishing she had eyes behind her too! And, I simply love the "swooshing" sounds when I take long shots in the goal circle.
Happy as I may be, but I yearn for more than just recreational games every Thursday. My boyfriend has asked me to go for his club training in Tampines. CLUB Training?! The people there run faster than me, jump higher than me, throw better than me. In short, THEY are much better players. Much as I would like to "succumb" to my bf's persuasion that I could also train with THEM, I simply dread the idea of playing under such stressful situations where everyone else seems to be two notches above me!
Already I could feel the stress of playing alongside my bf on Thursdays. The speed he requires of me, the mental alertness, the strength and agility I should possess to keep up with his game...the list goes on. Phew!
Guess what I can do now is to brush up my skills on Thursdays...until I feel the time is right for me to join THEM.
