How happening! Just before leaving for Japan, I thought I had sprained my wrist during a netball match. Then while in Japan, I shopped around with porter Eric (keke) and the pain seemed to have subsided. Swelling had also gone down. But when I arrived back in Singapore, the pain came back and x-ray result showed that I had a hairline fracture.
...............so was admitted to A&E department at TTSH today. Hmmm think I watched too much drama shows because I had expected the A&E department to be filled with bloody patients , people screaming in pain and doctors and nurses running here and there. Alas! I was wrong, damn wrong. There were no crying patients, no blood (not even blood stains), and no emergency staff running around. So sian lorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......................................... and I had to pay $80 even before I get to see the doctor! Goodness!
In the end, since mine was a hairline fracture, they didn't put me in a cast. Just some bandaging and several packs of painkillers (which I didn't need at all!) and I was out of that boring place. Took a train back but no one offered poor me a seat throughout the ride. Instead, all I got were stares at my bandages. On top of that, one stone-faced aunty nearly knocked into my bandaged wrist just to get the empty seat in front of me! Sigh, we can never attain first world country status with such ungracious citizens.
Photos from Japan will be up soon! Stay tuned!
Thanks dear for taking care of me in Japan, helping me to carry my luggages and shopping bags! keke.....like what Jason said, "You're the man of all men!"

How suay can one get
Sprained my wrist while playing against the Santa Fe game last night. Came out of the game even b4 the 1st quarter was up, what a damper. Been waiting to play since I recovered from my flu and fever and this sort of things happen. Hope it is a sprain and not a fracture....let's wait and see for a few more days.
What's worse, I am leaving for Japan tomorrow morning! How to shop with a sprained wrist?! Lucky it was my right hand which broke my fall (I am left handed). Looks like Eric will have to carry all my luggages for me! And I believe he secretly wishes I wouldn't shop too much since I am handicapped, but no way man! I already paid $768 for my flight, no way am I going to lessen my shopping just because of a bandaged wrist! Keep hoping la dear haha...
Anyway thanks dear, oops I mean Coach Eric for letting me play in the last quarter of the game even though I was injured. Guess he must have seen the look on my face and my sad bambi eyes while I sat on the bench...haha it was a great game in the end. Tough mentally and physically but definitely a good training match for me to toughen up!

I hate going for interviews
Just went for another interview today....I hate waking up early to prepare for it, hate wearing formal because it is just too hot in Singapore to be wearing long sleeves shirts and those tight-to-the-max skirts, and I hate the heels that goes along with being formal.
Wassup with all these interviewers man! They keep asking the same old questions, "tell me about yourself" and "where do you see yourself in the next 3 years?" Come on, if I could see the future I wouldn't be talking to you right now...........
Why can't interviewers be more creative and come up with interesting questions to throw us off our seats??? Something like "What do you think of the receptionist at the counter?" or "What did you have for breakfast today?" The way a person answers these questions can tell a lot about the person, and it is definitely a more effective way of getting to know the person, rather than listening to a rehearsed answer like "tell me about yourself"...duh!
Hope I do get a job soon, so I don't have to go for interviews anymore!
