Before things go out of hand, I better steal some precious time that I have left to update and blog.
Have started work at new PR agency situated at Club Street. Food is good there, except I have to worry bout' eating alone cos I have no colleagues to eat with. My two Caucasian bosses are nice, but I don't expect to eat with them too often. I guess will have to pester Peiqiao and Delia to lunch with me hehehe....they are like 10min walk away!
Work is going to be hectic, to say the least. I can almost see myself trying to stay afloat in a few weeks' time....hope things will get better in time to come. I really hope this job will work out and perhaps grow my career with this agency. Fingers crossed.
One of the perks of working here is that I'll get to travel. Exciting trip to HK coming up real soon this Sat. I'll be there shopping over the weekend and then go for an induction training in the HK headquarters on Monday. I'll be back in Spore on Tues night. Was hoping to get Wed morning off work but it seems they desperately need me in office by Wed morning...boo! Gonna be so tired.
My first work trip abroad, alone. Hope everything goes well. I know my parents and Eric are gonna freak out over here in S'pore worrying about my safety.
Too bad I can't catch Eric in action for the NSL opening match on Sat. Wish my Dear all the best. Will miss you lots.

Pam is fretting over V-Day
Shit la. Don't know what to get Eric for V-Day. He has been so nice to me, how how? Must get something special for him.
Shall I:
-Bake a cake for him? Sure fail, so cannot.
-Cook a nice meal for him? Also sure fail, so cannot.
-Make a nice card? Done before, nothing special.
-Buy him a much needed timepiece? Not sincere, use money to buy his heart...
-Running out of ideas....
Maybe I'll just give him what he needs most- Sleep time! hahaha...

The Most Exciting Day In HWA
I've spent close to a year in HWA, and today shall go down as the most exciting day working in HWA.
The clock struck 12 and it was time for lunch. But alas! My usual lunch khakis were treated to a meal by another colleague of mine, so I went for lunch with Silas- (Mr Look-like-nice-guy).
We decided to lunch at Shaw Plaza, instead of the usual Whampoa Market. Silas treated me to Suki Sushi, as a farewell meal since he would be leaving HWA for reservist in Feb. The air-conditioned setting, and wasps of fresh Jap food around us created a relaxed lunch setting. I was shocked when Silas noted the time- 1.10pm!
Late! So we quickly took our leave...and went downstairs for McDonald's soft serve ice-cream. =) My turn to treat Mr Look-like-nice-guy.
As we were rushing out of the building and walking back with quick steps, our soft serves fast melting in hand, Silas spotted a HWA van on the road. It was 3rd in line at the traffic junction, and the light was red. Should we just take the 10min walk back to office or.....?
We then did the most exciting thing. Silas did a quick signal to the driver and swiped open the sliding door. Both of us hopped onto HWA van swiftly, like some spies being tracked down by the merciless government.
Just as the 2 cars in front accelerated, our driver stepped on the pedals and off we go! Licking our soft serves with satisfied smiles on our faces, we reached HWA in just 3 minutes. As we were still late, Silas decided we should not enter from the front reception area, in case our Director (whose room is near the reception area) spots us.
But as we were walking around the reception and heading for the back door, we met our Assistant Director, walking right towards us. Damn Silas, for your brilliant idea....
Both of us tried to hide our giggles and tried acting normal, but our shrewd AD asked "Why so happy today?"
All Silas could think of at the moment was to hold up what was left of his soft-serve, and say "Ice-cream!" It made the both of us look like small kids......
We couldn't contain our roaring laughter once our AD went past us. Yes, that was the most exciting day in HWA for me, however lame the whole incident was.
Disclaimer: No vehicles or ice-cream were hurt in the process....er...but perhaps a few salmon and shisamo were sacrificed =)
