Finally......

I've found a job! Yeah!!

Though it's not my ideal job, but at least I can stop rotting at home flipping through the recruit section of Straits Times. Trust me, that kind of life is no bliss....insecurities of how I'm gonna repay the next loan amount forces me to flip the pages with more enthusiaism.

So, now that I've got this account executive job with a creative agency (whose name I'm not gonna post....for fear of incurring the wrath of my boss when in future I post bad stuff about him keke..) I would be away from home from 9am -7pm, travelling from Yishun to Paya Lebar five days a week.

Eric has promised he will accompany me for lunch if he is free (which he always is haha!) so that I can complain all my grouses during lunch time, like during my internship. But I'm quite certain this company is not as bad as my internship shit-hole, at the very least this company is not filthy and smelly....

Wish me luck.

Went for a photography session today with Eric. We took shots of me in my graduation gown, and Eric in a smart-casual getup. Didn't expect Eric to be stiff as a rod when posing, I nearly couldn't control myself when the photographer told him not to smile so broadly. keke...funnie....

Hope those pics turn out well...if not we're not going back there again for our wedding shots! ...keke..

Met up with Japan mates last night, had dinner at Marina South. It was great seeing them again, certainly brought back some nice memories. A pity Shanyi and Ken could not make it to the dinner.

I can't wait to upload all the nice pics that I have in my com right now, but Eric and I have yet to sort them out because there are simply too many pics!!

Maybe the next few days will be spent doing this since I have yet to find a job............arrrggghhh....

I've learnt to wipe my own tears, not to expect someone else to do it for me. It's a sunny day outside, but my room's dark and gloomy. My head's thumping, pill that I took doesn't seem to work. Why?

After one year, we seem to have missed out on all our monthlyversaries...

Just another day

Woke up with a lump in my throat this morning, must be the durians the night before. Eric's having a slight sore throat too...not a great start.

My new curtain has served its purpose though, shielding me from the morning glare, giving me more time to cuddle in bed, in my new cotton satin sheets =) Lovely!

It's back to searching for jobs...have yet to find the ideal job, and I don't even know if it exists...just have to keep searching I guess.

Have started playing sudoku recently, thanks (or no thanks..) to Eric. Now I'm stuck in front of the com, with numbers running through my head. Solved one puzzle in 10min 24seconds today! My fastest timing yet. Eric says he's gonna challenge my record time, I know he'll beat me, he just needs time...heh maybe a few more days and he'll catch up haha.

Post Japan Blues

I can't believe that I've been eating japanese food ever since I returned from Japan. Food's really nice over there but I can't seem to find something close to it in Singapore. How sad.

Miss the Salmon Sashimi that simply melts in your mouth,

Miss the fresh-from-the-shell Scallop that is so sweet and chewable,

Miss the nicely wrapped Onigiris (rice balls) that we always pack for our long train rides,

Miss the great service standards and smiles,

Miss every blossom that we find all over the city,

Miss Hokkaido, its sunshine and chirping birds in the early morn,

Miss the stars littered sky of Hokkaido nights,

Miss the outdoor onsen (Hot spring bath) and its superb view of Mt. Youtei,

Miss everything about Japan!
