Woke up with very bad muscle ache this morning, couldn't walk at all. I decided to take a day off work to recuperate, hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better. Lots to clear at work! Thankfully, there's my wonderful colleagues to help me out.

Eric had a stroke of bad luck over the weekend. Lost his entire Osprey bag, with his 2-month old Sony Erisson handphone and his favourite Gucci wallet inside. Damn that bastard or bitch who took his stuff. We calculated his loss while making a police report, and it totalled to about $900!

Gosh! $900 gone just like that.

Poor Dear Dear, now he has to re-apply all his cards, spend on a new handphone and re-establish all his contacts. Freaking troublesome....

Fortunately, Eric has gotten over his loss. I guess he has learnt to make lemonade when life throws him lemons. But I'm sure he will hunt that bastard or bitch down if he sees someone carrying a similar bag.

Direct translation of what Eric said: "I will chase him until he cries out for momma and papa!"

haha....beware......if you have a black Osprey haversack bag, please just keep it at home for the time being, at least until my Dear has bought a new bag.

Guess what, it's been a month since I started working. Everything's still great, except I haven't got my pay! Yeah...the finance guy went on leave so everyone's gotta wait till he's back next week. I'm super broke...............

Well if there's anything to look forward to, it's gonna be my first pay cheque! Not that I have never worked in my life before...this time is different, just different.

And then there is my birthday next month. Falls on a tuesday, so I'm contemplating taking leave on Monday....and maybe Tuesday haha!

One of the designers has agreed to re-design my blog as a birthday present! So yea...looking forward to my new blog too.

In life, you always need to have something to look forward to, just to keep you going.

It's Friday, the last day of my second week at work! Time flies, the person that I'm taking over is spending his last day today and we are going for a meeting with a very important client at sixth avenue!

Next week will be chaos, I foresee.....

Had a great National Day Holiday, playing street netball with Eric at Suntec City. We came in 2nd in the mixed corporate league, after battling with the likes of Jeremy, Khiok Seng, Net4All Devils, LLapten....

Our prizes.....? Lots of Milo and Heat Rub and of course..the coveted cash money of $250! Not a lot, but enough for dinner at Suntec and a cab ride back home.

Managed to catch a glimpse of the NDP at Marina Bay when we reached home. Great performance. Wonder if Suresh caught it too in Aussie. Bet he misses home.

My 3rd day at work....it's been great working at this company. Colleagues are unbelievably friendly, work place is neat and tidy, boss is always smiling. What a great way to start my first job!

And you know what's best? Things can only get better, once I get the hang of how things work here. Everything's systematic, so I guess it wouldn't be too tough picking things up. If all else fails, there's always my nice and friendly colleagues to turn to!
