Completed my 2nd week at work, beginning to "discover" certain things about my boss...
Oh god, she doesn't even know how to do copy and paste! I had to show her how to do it. Beginning to wonder if I can learn much from her.........
She keeps cutting people off when they are speaking, and doesn't like to reply to emails....you tell me how?
To quit or not to quit, that is the question.

Art therapy at Botanic Gardens
Just 1 week into my new job, I had the opportunity to tag along with one of the Art Therapy classes held by the Handicaps Welfare Association. Together with several disabled members, we went to the Singapore Botanic Gardens for an oil-painting session. This was also my first close contact with disabled people.
I talked with some of them, and made friends with some very nice people. One of them, Mdm Daisy, kept thanking me for pushing her around. Made me a little embarrassed as I really did not do much for her. What's more, I nearly caused a minor accident when I forgot to apply the wheelchair brakes on a minor slope while I went around taking pictures! Felt damn idiotic and sorry. Fortunately I managed to grab her wheelchair in time. God knows what would happen otherwise....*shudder* Maybe the next day's paper headline would read,
"New staff at Handicaps Welfare Assoc kills a disabled member on her 1st week at work"
Bleh..
Anyways, I had a great time at Botanic Gardens. Will definitely go back again with Eric to pak toh!
Here are some pics I took:

Ms Clarity Cafe
Darren, one of my colleagues (now ex-colleague) brought us to this place on my last day of work for lunch.
Very pink place, we were wondering how he got to know this place Haha! Fag....oops!
Anyways, food was good, so was service. Toilet was super clean and nicely decorated. Definitely worth another visit!
Ms clarity cafe is along tanjong katong road, heard there's another branch at purvis street.

Wow, it's my first time coaching a netball team today. Eric was busy with the south zone games, so I had to stand in for him to coach his Evergreen C div team.
Quite a nerve-wreaking experience I must say, since the girls are looking to you for instructions and support. And they are always LOOKING at you, don't know why. Haha...hopefully I didn't look too nervous to them, inside I was all butterflies!
Anyways, I felt the game started well in the first quarter. We were leading 10-0. Subsequently the passes were not so good, timing a little off as well. We gave away a lot of contacts towards the 3rd and 4th quarter and opponent managed to score quite a few goals. This Indian GA came in the 3rd and 4th quarter and created a bit of trouble for my girls. Luckily we were leading by a lot in the first 2 quarters. Phew....
In the end, we won 29-8. Just shy from the 30 goal target that I set for the girls. Good enough to bring the girls closer to the 2nd round =)
Jia You Evergreen Team!!
