Mr. Mascoe contacted one of my best friend recently via email, and it's really cool to hear from him again. I believe the class of 2G missed him badly ever since he went back to Canada.
He was one of the best teachers I've met, we were really lucky to have him as our form teacher. The coolest teacher around ever. I mean, who would teach confidence in speaking out in class by asking your student to stand on the table and shout out her answer. No it did not happen to me, but to my classmate, who was very soft-spoken and shy. In the end, she did stand on the table and shout out her answer, and the whole class cheered for her.
That was just one of those special moments with Mr. Mascoe. Trust me, there were many more of these moments, which i still remember fondly. Mr. Mascoe coloured my secondary school days, and made going to school so much more interesting.
