Was preparing late into the night yesterday for this morning's meeting. It's an important one, considering we (note: just me and boss) are presenting to a bunch of boardroom directors.
And then someone by the name of Murphy had to interupt. (Ever heard of Murphy's Law? Anything that could go wrong would go wrong....)
To start off, I had to be late for the meeting. I was supposed to go in earlier to do set up, but because of the traffic condition I was late! Gosh....my boss had already reached and he called me while I was still on cab.
"Where the hell are you Pam!?"
Nah...my boss is not that evil...maybe he was cursing at me inside, but he just asked where I was and when I would be arriving. Nice.
Luckily I was just 5 min away. Did a quick set up of the computer and the projector, tried to calm my nerves and had a sip of water. Felt a little out of place in a huge boardroom with big black chairs.
And then we waited. I was expecting a group of old men slowly streaming into the room. 5min past 9am. We waited some more.
10min past 9am.
We waited patiently still. I mean, what can you expect from a group of old men? Of course they will not arrive on time right. Not as if we are some big shot or what.
And then we were told the directors will not be coming in the morning. Our meeting was re-scheduled at 2pm, and we were not informed about it!
...........................
I have another meeting scheduled at 3pm today as well, so my boss says he will present alone at 2pm.
There goes my preparation for this meeting. All gone to waste!

It's the 3rd day since Eric left for his Aussie trip. Miss him terribly. In fact, I couldn't sleep at all last night, partly because of the meeting this morning. But more so because I didn't feel his arms around me............
Thanks for the surprise at the airport Dear! I love the watch. You just had to make me cry right.....
